It’s been a funny old week, the first of the New Year and one with many challenges…
This week was the first anniversary of my dad’s death; I’m still in utter disbelief that I’ll never get to see him again and am still struggling to accept this fact even now.
On a more positive note, believe it or not (for those that know me), I have maintained my “no alcohol in the week” rule. I DO NOT feel any better, in fact I haven’t been sleeping well at all, I’ve been restless with an hourly waking pattern; but I am prepared to stick with it to see if this will remedy itself.
This week has also seen me embark on a new career challenge – I’ve talked to and met with a number of recruiters – each with varying degrees of professionalism and knowledge – the best by far has been Headturner Search.
I’ve continued to be more mindful of what I eat – see some of my beautiful foods below:
To be honest I haven’t been skipping everyday and when I have, it’s been for only 10 minutes, which is fine for a warm up, but if I want to see any results I need to be doing a minimum of 20 minutes per day.
The main thing that we are all keen to know though is, how I’m getting on in achieving my goal, see my stats when I started 6 weeks ago
My stats 6 weeks in are:
- Weight: 10st 4lbs (a loss of 1lb)
- Thigh: 23″ (no change)
- Upper arm: 12.5″ (-0.5″ change)
- Bust: 38″ (no change)
- Waist: 33″ (+1″)
- Hips: 42″ (+0.5″)
- BMI: 27.2 (still overweight but I’ve reduced this from 27.7)
It may not be apparent all the time, but I’m committed to making positive changes for myself, and even with a tough start to the New Year I remain positive and determined to succeed.
